A Unifying Force

NASIMCO (North American Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities Organization) empowers and unites Shia Muslim communities across North America through leadership development, education, youth engagement, community building, and social services. It supports local Member Organizations, fosters Islamic learning, trains volunteers, and promotes civic engagement to strengthen identity, collaboration, and positive societal impact

Our mission is to harness the talents and resources available in our member communities for the greater good of global humanity. Under the leadership of the 2025–2028 team, we are transforming into a dynamic and future-focused body that redefines its presence with integrity, accountability, and impact

We are committed to laying a strong foundation for the next generation. Through our Leadership Development Program (LDP), we build capacity grounded in adult learning theory, while our Youth Network provides a platform for meaningful collaboration and networking. The Career and Professional Development portfolio helps youth identify meaningful career pathways and provides mentorship and support

Our Welfare and Aid portfolio turns compassion into action. We focus on local projects (soup kitchens, food banks, newcomer support) that strengthen North American communities while partnering with trusted organizations for targeted global relief initiatives

Through the Centre of Islamic Learning (CIL) portfolio, we support Madaris across North America with teacher training and curriculum adoption (including the Tarbiyah Curriculum). Through the Tableegh portfolio, NASIMCO facilitates religious outreach through initiatives like the Complimenting the Mimbar Series and the Alim Grant to nurture scholarship and service
